Our Public Art Projects

The questions some may ask is why public art and why Afrofuturism?

As stolen people on stolen land - Afrofuturism allows us to imagine Black futures on our own terms but it also makes room for cultural collaborations for social change with Indigenous people and allies.

Afrofuturism also allow us to reclaim or recover legacies from the past.

We believe public art can be a multipurpose tool for social change, restoration, community building.

Together, Afrofuturism and placemaking become acts of cultural repair, joy, resistance and empowerment.

This is some of the many reasons we do the transformative work we do.
